  The google calendar is something I never really considered before since we have a pretty great calendar on our e-mail service, Microsoft. However I have to admit google calendar has a better layout than Microsoft and I like the quick add button, where you can just put in the facts and it automatically fills it in for you. Google calendars are an excellent way for students to keep track of assignments and up coming events.

  Google alert is a great way to have information come to you. I signed up for email alerts for any upcoming art shows in Nashville. The google translate is also a good option, but I would not fully rely on its translations. Students could use Google alerts keep informed of interest and anything that would be beneficial to their major.
