   Well,  This project is loosely based upon the website 43Things (which allows you to set and track personal goals) and the Stephen Abram article titled 43 Things I (or You) might want to do this year (Information Outlook - Feb 2006).

    I plan on using creative commons in my classroom by making sure I stay within the law's of educational use. Creative Commons is a great site to be able to check on any material they use the classroom to make sure that it's legal and fair to use . this will be especially important for me considering that I love public television and I would love to share. I now know the proper steps to take to own media legally.

   Livebinders is another awesome way to keep up with all your teacher resources and classroom  lessons.  It is not as easy to use as, Delicious, Diigo but, it is the sharing of Word documents that makes this site so great. However it is a great organizational tool for any classroom teacher. Live binders is a great way to share your organizational skills with other teachers, as well as you learning from other teachers organization skills. Livebinders is a great resource for any teacher.

    I think Delicious is a great account for teachers not unlike the live binders. Teachers can keep up with all the websites they use for the classroom. I realized as well that it's a great research tool as a student. If I was to used it to assist in my classroom, I would use it to keep track of all the websites for particular lessons and tag them appropriately so that I could come back and find them easily.

Thing #16

     I chose to use iGoogle for my homepage.  I was able to add a todo list and a calendar along with many other neat gadgets.  One of the great features of the calendar is it actually sets the alarm for you that you can use when you have certain events coming up. IGoogle is a great way for students to keep track of everything, whether personal or academically.

Thing #14

   I explored bubbl.us and I used it as a template to my interactive PowerPoint assignment.  I also used Gliffy. Out of all the flowcharts in mind maps that I used bubble. us was probably my most favorite. I loved the various colors and the easiness of making sibling bubbles and parent bubbles. This would be an awesome site to show students who are writing papers or have some kind of brainstorming assignment that these be completed.

Thing #24 The End!!

    Oh my, what an adventure we have been on. My favorite post in 23 things for teachers would have to be Animoto video I made of my daughter. Most of the entire overall journey was a great experience and I have gained valuable resources in my career as art teacher. As a lifelong learner, creating a blog is a great way to get my ideas out there and to get constructive feedback. Being a feature art teacher, I have discovered that the computer has more to offer me than expected. I definitely plan to keep up with 2.0 by continuing research. I have gained a valuable, limitless resource in technology through 23 things for teachers.

This was just a fun blog to do! I enjoyed creating a video of my daughter, and she liked it as well! I can see using this as a class project or may be something to endorse the school. I can see using this is an art project, a group project, discussing are many art styles and likes.
